1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and profile information

• Username, display name, user ID
• Email address (when you register or sign in)
• Profile photo and optional profile details (bio, badges, VIP level, etc.)
• Authentication data when you sign in with Google or other supported providers

1.2 Voice, audio, and room activity

• Real-time audio when you enable the microphone in a voice room
• Room participation data (room ID, seat/slot, mute status, room events)
• Technical metadata required to deliver low-latency voice (e.g. connection quality)

Voice audio is transmitted in real time to enable live conversation. We do not intend to permanently store raw voice recordings of ordinary room chat unless required for safety, legal compliance, or abuse investigation.

1.3 User-generated content

• Text messages in rooms and private chats
• Photos or images you upload (profile, room, chat)
• Gifts, emojis, and in-app social interactions
• Spin the Bottle and other in-room game events

1.4 Purchases and virtual currency

• In-app purchase records (e.g. Google Play Billing): product ID, transaction token, purchase time
• Virtual coin balance and purchase history within the App

1.5 Device and technical information

• Device model, operating system version, app version, language
• IP address and network information
• Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data
• Push notification tokens (FCM) for alerts you opt into
• Advertising ID where applicable and permitted by your device settings

1.6 Permissions

The App may request permissions such as:

• Microphone — voice chat in rooms
• Notifications — messages and app alerts
• Photos / media — profile and chat images
• Phone state (Android) — to pause room audio during phone calls
• Bluetooth — audio routing for headsets

2. How We Use Information

• Create and manage your account
• Provide voice rooms, Spin the Bottle, chat, gifts, and other features
• Process in-app purchases and deliver virtual items
• Send push notifications you have enabled
• Keep the platform safe: moderation, reports, blocks, bans
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and analyze usage trends
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate the Services. They process data only as needed to perform their function:

• Supabase — authentication, database, realtime events
• LiveKit / WebRTC — real-time voice transmission
• Google Firebase — crash reporting, analytics, push messaging (FCM)
• Google Sign-In — optional login
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases on Android
• CDN / cloud storage — media and assets (e.g. cdn.cafespin.com)

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only when:

• You choose to make profile information visible to other users
• Service providers process data on our behalf under contract
• Required by law, court order, or government request
• Necessary to protect users, our rights, or investigate abuse
• In connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice where required)

5. Data Retention

We retain information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce policies. You may request account deletion as described below.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update profile information in the App
• Block or report other users
• Disable notifications in device or app settings
• Revoke permissions (microphone, photos) in device settings
• Request account and data deletion (in-app or by email)

Depending on your region (e.g. EU/EEA, UK, Türkiye), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Children’s Privacy

Cafe Spin is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we may delete the account. The App includes social and voice features; parents and guardians should supervise minor users where permitted by local law.

9. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our servers or providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes may be notified in the App or on cafespin.com. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
